Safety On Our Minds

Parents must submit a PAR-Q+ and Waiver form before their child participates in any program run by Sumera and her instructors

Supporting Kids Living With Special Needs

If your child has special needs, a parent or caregiver must be present to help them with the activities. Because it’s 1 instructor per class, we want to create a fun, effective, and SAFE experience. If this applies to you, please send a message to Sumera below.

Our 0 Bullying Policy

We do not believe in “tough love” or the “no pain no gain” philosophy. Because if you're in pain, the only thing you'll gain is an injury, and that's anything but fun. Our instructors do provide constructive feedback and options that encourage kids to keep trying a movement or activity that they may be struggling with.

When it comes to peer-to-peer bullying, we do not tolerate bullying in any form. This includes verbal (yelling, swearing, gossiping, or body shaming) and physical (hitting, punching, kicking, pushing and grabbing, biting, throwing objects).

2 warnings and you’re out: we give 1 warning privately to the child and ask them to apologize and agree not to do it again. If the bullying persists, we give a second warning in the form of a time-out and will only allow the child back in once they apologize and agree not to do it again. If the bullying persists after the second warning, we remove them from the program. If a child is removed from the program, we will issue a refund for the remaining classes.
