2025 Adult Dance & Fitness Classes


Women’s and Adult Bollywood Dance Fitness Program

A low to moderate intensity dance workout that combines easy-to-follow dance cardio routines, body weight exercises, dance learning, and a Yoga inspired cool down to high energy rhythms spanning from South Asia to the Middle East | This is an adult program with a majority of the participants being over age 40 + | This is NOT a formal dance class | beginner and drop-in friendly. This community-based program runs 3 times a year.

Beginners Adult Yoga Flow Program (Online)

This beginner-level program offers a moderate-intensity combination of Vinyasa (Yoga flow), strength, mobility, and balance exercises, along with traditional breathing and relaxation techniques. Participants are encouraged to have a pillow for their knees and wrists, and a chair or table nearby to prevent slip and falls. This program can be done wearing indoor shoes or barefoot on a mat. This program is currently supported by Anurag.


Online Hula (Hawaiian & Tahitian) Dance Fitness for Women & Girls

A fun low-impact dance workout that combines Hula dance routines from Samoa, Hawaii, and Tahiti and rhythms and drums from the Pacific Islands. To connect to a broader audience, Cheryl includes Reggae, 90s Hip-hop, and Disney’s Moana songs in her classes. This is a drop-in and beginner-friendly program that can be done wearing indoor shoes or barefoot on a mat or floor.


Latin Dance Fitness For Women & Girls

An easy-to-follow dance workout incorporates both Latin and international music and movements to create a fun and effective workout. This is a low to moderate-impact workout to accommodate women of all fitness levels and ages. We always welcome teenage girls to join us!


Women’s Belly Dance Fitness Program (Online & In-Person)

This dance fitness program combines easy-to-follow dance cardio routines that focus on the upper body and hips, body weight exercises, a dance choreography learning section, and a mixture of Middle Eastern, drum solos, and Latin and Pop songs. No dance experience is needed. This is facilitated by Lovelynn.


Online Caribbean Dance Fitness For Women & Girls (No Longer Offered)

This is a moderate-impact dance workout combining Caribbean dance, high-impact function exercises, and energetic rhythms. This class is great for adults and teens. This program was supported by a Socacize Fitness Instructor.


Pound Fitness (no longer offered)

Pound combines easy-to-follow cardio moves, resistance training, and drumming. The combo works the entire body and raises the heart to a fat-burning zone.


Women’s Dance Classes & Workshops (Ages 19 +)


Bollywood Dance Choreography 70s to Now

Our online Zoom dance program combines popular songs and dance movements from iconic Bollywood movies spanning as far back as the 70s'. Classes encourage artistic development, self-expression, and creativity through the physical arts. No dance experience is required and each class offers new choreography. This program runs 3 times per year.

Classical Indian Dance Fusion Workshops (Halloween and Valentine’s)

Participants get to learn new weekly choreography that includes steps and gestures from classical Indian dance forms (like Bharatanatyam or Kathak) to mixture of traditional, Tamil, Indian folk, and iconic Bollywood songs. Currently, this program is running online.

Mom and Baby Fitness Classes


Latin Dance Fitness For Moms and Babies

As described above, has been adapted to create a fun and safe environment for moms to bond with their babies and other Toronto moms while getting in a workout. Research has shown that a mom's participation in physical activities and sports increases their children's participation later on. Creating a class that combines both groups is critical to starting babies off on the right foot. 

To participate, all you need to do is bring your baby in a car seat or stroller, bring a carrier if you want to workout with your little one, a bottle of water and wear a comfortable pair of dance or cross training shoes.

Kindly Note: all participants are welcome to come with or without their babies.
