Women's Classes (Ages 19 to 55 Years-old)

Latin Dance Fitness 

Referred to as Zumba (R) Fitness, the easy-to-follow dance workout incorporates both Latin and international music and movements to create a fun and effective workout. Move to the beautiful and infectious rhythms spanning from Latin America all the way to South Asia. No dance experience required. This is a low to moderate impact workout to accommodate women of all fitness levels and ages.

Pound(R) Rockout Workout / PoundFit

Pound combines easy-to-follow cardio moves, resistance-training, and drumming. The combo works the entire body and raises the heart to a fat burning zone.  The workout's routines which include standing, sitting and laying down routines, are paired to some of the hottest Rock, HipHop, and Trap remixed songs. This is a moderate impact workout and is beginner-friendly.

Bollywood City Fitness

An exhilarating dance workout that pairs easy to follow exercises and Bollywood-inspired movements with rhythms from South Asia and the Middle East right here in Toronto city. No dance experience required. This is a low to moderate impact workout to accommodate women of all fitness levels and ages.


Mom and Baby Latin Dance Fitness

 This Latin Dance Fitness class, as described above, has been adapted to create a fun and safe environment for moms to bond with their babies and other Toronto moms while getting in a workout. Research has shown that a mom's participation in physical activities and sports increases their children's participation later on. Creating a class that combines both groups is critical to starting babies off on the right foot. 

To participate, all you need to do is show up with your baby in a car seat or carrier, bring a bottle of water and wear a comfortable pair of dance or cross training shoes. No dance experience is required. This is a low impact workout to accommodate women of all fitness levels and those wearing carriers. Check your carrier to find out the maximum weight it can hold (typically 7 lbs to 40 lbs)


Mom and Baby Pound Rockout Workout

Pound Fit, as described above, has been adapted to create a fun and safe environment for moms to bond with their babies and other Toronto moms while getting in a workout. Research has shown that a mom's participation in physical activities and sports increases their children's participation later on. Creating a class that combines both groups is critical to starting babies off on the right foot. 

To participate, all you need to do is bring your baby in a car seat or stroller, bring a yoga mat and a bottle of water and wear a comfortable pair of dance or cross training shoes. 


Girl's Classes (8 to 17 years-old)

 Teen Girl's Dance Fit Class ( 12 to 19 yrs old)

Teen Girl's Dance Fit Class ( 12 to 19 yrs old)

Girl's Latin Dance (Ages 9 to 17-yrs old)

This is a dance-based exercise class that combines easy to follow dance moves and exercises to popular world music. Girls get to learn cool moves to songs ranging from Canada’s Justin Bieber to Cuba’s Pitbull. Classes incorporate  FUNdamental Movement Skills in an effort to help girls to develop beginner movement and coordination skills to participate in future organized sports and physical activities with confidence. No dance experience required.  This is low impact physical activity to accommodate girls of all fitness levels and skills.  Bonuses include doing better in school, improved self-confidence and fitness, and opportunities for making new friends. 

Spring classes are currently for girls 8 to 13 years-old at Runnymede and Bloor.

Girl's HipHop Fit (Ages 12 to 17-yrs old)

This is a dance-based exercise class that combines HipHop dance moves and Hip Hop songs from across the world. Girls get to learn to dance to Reggaeton (Latin Reggae), Bhangra (Indian Hiphop), Caribbean  (Soca and Reggae) and American HipHop rhythms. Classes incorporate  FUNdamental Movement Skills in an effort to help girls to develop beginner movement and coordination skills to participate in future organized sports and physical activities with confidence. No dance experience required.  This is low to moderate impact physical activity to accommodate girls of all fitness levels and skills. Bonuses include doing better in school, improved self-confidence and fitness, and opportunities for making new friends.


Co-ed Kids Camps (8 to 12 years-old)


Fundamental Movement Skills Camp (Ages 7 to 10)

This week-long, half-day, program is designed to teach kids with limited to basic Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS), as outlined by the National Coaching Certification Program, how to throw, catch, jump, and run with confidence. The program will include fun and easy to follow drills and games to help children develop the building blocks of movement all while helping them meet their daily exercise requirement of at least 60-minutes a day. To support beginner to advanced participants, the program will combine easy and challenging options. The goal of this camp is to equip kids with Fundamental Movement Skills in a fun and supportive environment so that they can participate in future sports activities with confidence and ease.

All camps include a 2-hour play portion and a  games and healthy vegetarian snack portion (nut-free) to encourage peer to peer bonding, interactive games, and healthy eating habits.

Kids Dance Camp (Ages 8 to 12)

This week-long, half-day, program is designed to teach kids fun ballroom dances to the songs they love. Imagine how much fun it will be for them to learn Merengue to Luis Fonsi’s Despacito and Swing to Camilla Cabana’s Havana. Over the week, kids get to learn four popular ballroom dances, meet new friends, play games, and earn a certificate of completion. The program will include easy to follow movements to help children develop balance and coordination skills, enhance communication and memory skills, all while helping them meet their daily exercise requirement of at least 60-minutes a day. The goal of the program is to make exercise fun, expose them to the physical arts, encourage positive friendships and give them the confidence to participate in future dance programs with ease. No dance experience needed and all participants are free to learn dances with or without a partner.

All camps include a dance portion and a  games and healthy vegetarian snack portion (nut-free) to encourage peer to peer bonding, interactive games, and healthy eating habits.

The Goal of Fitness and Dance Classes

Women (18 to 64 Years-old)

To make exercising fun while promoting the primary benefits of exercise which includes improved fitness (such as the cardiorespirtatory system), strength, flexibility, and body composition. The physical, social, and mental benefits of physical activities includes reducing the risks of premature death, heart disease, some forms of cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, osteoporosis and weight gain. Benefits also include better moods, reduced stress levels, and better social opportunities.

Girls/Youth (5 to 17 Years-old)

To one, teach youth a variety of movement skills and art forms through a fun and unique group exercise class. And two, to promote the physical, social, and mental benefits of physical activities which includes doing better in school, improved self-esteem and confidence, enhanced moods, and opportunities to make positive friendships.
